Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of the CryptoHalal / CryptoHalalStatus API, datasets, documentation, Telegram bot, website, and related services (together, the Service).

By creating an account, claiming a key, purchasing a plan, submitting payment proof, calling the API, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

CryptoHalal is an aggregator. We collect Shariah-screening statuses for cryptocurrencies from recognized public third-party sources, including Crypto Islam and Crypto Halal, then normalize, organize, attribute, and serve them through the API and bot.

We do not author the underlying religious rulings. The halal, haram, doubtful, suspicious, or unknown verdicts originate from the third-party sources we name; every result identifies its source and ruling date.

The compiled, normalized, and continuously maintained dataset, consensus and merge logic, API, software, documentation, and CryptoHalal brand are ours. The source rulings remain attributed to their named public sources.

Subject to your plan and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to call the API and display returned status data inside your own product or workflow.

You may display the verdict, source attribution, ruling date, and related metadata returned by the Service, and you may cache API responses for up to 24 hours to improve reliability and reduce repeated requests.

This license is for internal use and display only. It transfers no ownership and grants no right to redistribute, resell, sublicense, relabel, or otherwise present the data outside the permitted use.

You must preserve and display the source attribution returned with each result, including the source name and ruling date. You may not strip, hide, alter, or obscure source names, ruling dates, attribution, or disclaimers.

Free-tier users must additionally display the CryptoHalalStatus attribution badge wherever API-derived results are shown.

You must not imply endorsement by, sponsorship by, or partnership with CryptoHalal or any source beyond what these Terms expressly permit.

You may not present, market, label, or otherwise represent the data, verdicts, rulings, source content, or compiled dataset, in whole or in part, as your own original data, ratings, research, or proprietary dataset.

You may not represent the data as originating from you or from a source other than the one we name. Removing, hiding, or replacing attribution in order to pass the data off as yours is a material breach of these Terms.

Under the standard plans, you may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, syndicate, lend, or share API data, responses, exports, or substantial excerpts as a standalone or competing data feed, file, or product.

You may not build a derivative database, mirror, bulk archive, scraped copy, downloadable index, or other dataset reconstructed from API responses.

You may not share, resell, or transfer API keys; use one key across unrelated products or customers; attempt full-dataset enumeration; mass scrape; or extract data to reconstruct the dataset rather than serve live product lookups.

Rights to redistribute, resell, sublicense, white-label, embed for third parties, or present our data to others as a feed or product are not included in the standard plans.

Those rights are available only under a separate written commercial agreement. If you need them, contact the support contact in your dashboard so we can arrange a redistribution, partner, or white-label plan in writing.

Access is tiered. Each plan defines its own rate limits, coverage band, monthly distinct-coin cap, page size, bulk-check limit, and entitlements such as ruling history, delta feeds, bulk lookups, and webhooks.

Free (free): 30 requests/min, 2,000 requests/day, page size 25, bulk size 10, Top 50 coins, 50 distinct coins/month, no history, bulk enabled, no webhooks.

Standard (standard): 60 requests/min, 10,000 requests/day, page size 50, bulk size 25, Top 250 coins, 250 distinct coins/month, no history, bulk enabled, no webhooks.

Growth (upper): 200 requests/min, 50,000 requests/day, page size 100, bulk size 100, Top 1,000 coins, 600 distinct coins/month, history enabled, bulk enabled, no webhooks.

Pro (unlimited): 600 requests/min, unlimited requests/day, page size 200, bulk size 200, all coins, 1,500 distinct coins/month, history enabled, bulk enabled, webhooks enabled.

The current limits are published at GET /v1/plans and your own live limits at GET /v1/account. Requests that exceed your limits or entitlements may be rejected, and limits, tiers, and pricing may change over time.

Each plan maps to one project and one account-bound API credential. Your key is shown once at issuance; store it securely in a secret manager or similarly protected system.

You are responsible for all activity under your credentials and for keeping your account and keys secret. Notify us immediately if you suspect compromise or unauthorized use.

Paid plans are purchased in stablecoins (USDT/USDC) on supported chains. Each payment is reviewed and verified before access is activated.

Paid plans grant access for the stated subscription period. Send the exact token on the exact network; on-chain transfers are irreversible and may not be recoverable if sent incorrectly.

Do not exceed or attempt to circumvent your plan’s rate limits, coverage band, monthly distinct-coin cap, page-size limits, bulk limits, or entitlements.

Do not use the Service to build a competing product, harm availability, violate applicable law, mislead users about attribution, or interfere with any source or customer.

Do not misuse, probe, scan, attack, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the infrastructure, accounts, keys, or data pipelines.

The Service republishes structured information from third-party source rulings. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or religious advice.

CryptoHalal does not issue a fatwa. Verdicts may change, sources may differ or make mistakes, and important decisions should be verified with qualified scholars and the original sources.

The Service and data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Data is aggregated from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CryptoHalal’s total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim.

CryptoHalal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the Service.

We may update these Terms, plans, limits, entitlements, and pricing over time. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, including attempted full-dataset enumeration, key sharing, unauthorized redistribution, removal of attribution, or conduct that harms service availability.
